What is the Best Exercise for busy schedules?
Pilates is by far the Best Exercise for busy schedules and has Remarkable results. This is a type of exercise in which you perform a series of controlled movements that flow into one another with precision. This is much different than yoga but most people think of them as the same thing. Pilates help build muscles and strengthen the whole body. Yoga is more about stretching and flexibility. Pilates is a great exercise for busy schedules. There are many benefits of pilates.
My Pilates Journey!
I started using pilates about 9 months ago. After having 2 kids and struggling to find something that not only fit my post-babies body but also fit my busy mom schedule, pilates is by far the perfect fit. No equipment, no money investment and best of all I could do it right in my living room during nap time!
Because I have the kids, I wasn’t able to go to a gym or park and exercise. I didn’t have 2 hours to spend on a rigorous cardio routine. I didn’t have the money to invest in equipment to put in my house in hopes I would use it. So, I tried pilates for the first time.
It was perfect! I started off with 10 minutes a day! Pilates can be done right on the living room floor while the kids are napping. I started with the beginner level and worked on my core ( that was for sure my most needed area to strengthen after having kids). I had noticeable results in just 3 weeks. My body showed small gradual changes. Not only that, I feel stronger and healthier.
Today….
Today, I do advanced level pilates. Usually completing 30 minutes a day. I have never felt or looked better in my life. I was very athletic in high school ,but I feel stronger and my body looks better than in high school. It wasn’t a magic overnight transformation. It took time, hard work, and dedication but it has been well worth it!
I had major back issues and pain, I had that stubborn belly fat, I had aches and pains more and more, and I felt sluggish more often than not. Now, my back has completely healed, my belly fat is now muscle, I feel great and have no pains, and I am strong and energized!
